No joke, this series is what got me into design and illustration as a profession back in my high school days. I was a sophomore and I came across you here on DA and would browse your gallery in class (after finishing all my work haha!)
As cheesy as it sounds, I really saw myself in this piece—just a dude in a classroom setting with imagination just seeping out, unable to contain itself. This image alone really made things click for me. Anyway, one and two led to three and I enrolled in art school the next year.
Now, ten years later, I'm sitting here now at a pretty cool job (after finishing all my work haha!), I've got my graphic design degree, I'm working on my masters in business, just browsing your prints to help decorate a new apartment and I stumbled on this pic all over again.
You're awesome, your work ethic is awesome and your artwork is awesome. I just wanted to say a belated thanks for illuminating my career/passion/life all those years ago.
